If i have a Terrain which is generated using a heightmap how can i create a skybox that fits with it? If it is very difficult does any1 know of Heightmaps which have accomponying skyboxes?

Hi,

Skyboxes, like so much else in 3d rendering, look best when an artist makes them. However, for us programmers there are programs that can generate nice skies, water and terrain for backdrops ...namely terragen.

You should be able to get a nice enough looking skybox to suit your terrain using terragen and there are a multitude of tutorials out there on using it if you [google].

But in my experience you won't get a skybox that works perfectly unless you are an artist or get an artist to do it [grin].

All the best,
ViLiO

Edit: oops I was a bit slow [smile]
