Now I'm in the middle of making a CTF game. I'm in the middle of making the basic pathfinding cause thats a main part of the game, but it's going a little slowly. I don't have any problem with graphics (opengl) or sound and stuff like that, but is there any engine or library that could help me with the game in general? Or maybe is there one that could help me setup the units, formations, pathfinding... ? Thanks a lot. (If there isn't then could you tell me so that I don't waste time searching?)

To be honest there's not much that helps you with the game as such, just the technology that the game uses. You might have more luck if you used a game-specific language like BlitzBasic or one of the similar ones.

There are some pathfinding libraries, but really the basic algorithms are so simple and require so much domain-specific additional code (comparatively speaking) that you don't save much work by using them. Ask in the AI forum for more specific help on that subject.
