Hi there, I am currently working on a C++Builder component that requires the KeyDown and KeyUp methods to be overwritten in order to detect if a cursor key (VK_UP | VK_DOWN | VK_LEFT | VK_RIGHT) are currently depressed (Bit like me ) Anyway the KeyDown code never gets called if a windows virtual key is pressed however if the key is released the KeyUp method is called. Does anyone know of a possible solution to this problem Many thanks.

I''ve just written a test program and whenever I press one of the arrows the KeyDown and KeyUp events gets executed... Have you changed the Form''s KeyPreview property to true?

"- To begin with, said the Cat, a dog's not mad. You grant that? - I suppose so, said Alice. - Well, then, - the Cat went on - you see, a dog growls when it's angry, and wags its tail when it's pleased. Now I growl when I'm pleased, and wag my tail when I'm angry. Therefore I'm mad."
