Why can't I make a reply to the forum faq thread? Whenever I click reply it simply takes me back to the Consoles,...Phones forum. Is this just me?

Any thread with this icon next to it:

means that the thread has been 'retired' so no new replies can be made to it. You can usually ask the forum moderator to unretire it if you have more to ask and they see it worthwhile if they do not add in the content themselves. This icon can only be seen in the forum listing page though.

Ah, thanks. I wasn't sure what the icon meant.

At the bottom of the forum page, there is a copy of the icon, labelled "Post Has Been Retired (No New Posts Allowed)". :\ (To be fair, I suppose it ought to be "Thread Has...".)

Yeah, I really wish that thread didn't keep retiring itself. I'll unretire it right now.
