Hey, we have just started up a new forum that we hope will help introduce newcomers to the gaming world and define gaming for everyone everywhere. This site could be a rather promising place to research consumer reaction to your products and maybe get some fans. If you guys would like to check it out, the url is at teh bottom. If you can, please add this site to all you sigs on other forums as to increase traffic for the site. This site is not meant to take anything away, but add onto the experience for gamers everywhere by providing them with info as to what games/hardware is the best, and to tell game designers what the populous is demanding for their next game. Not bad. Colour scheme is easy on the eyes too!

I was actually expecting another games development site, quick pleased to see a site simply about gaming [smile]

i've joined and have already made 3 post :)
the forums aren't bad and don't have any annoying people in it either (yet anyway), i would recommend it if you're a general gamer.

I am working on a getting a game developement section put up. I sure hope it gets done. I would really like to see what the developemnt side has to offer to the consumer side. Communication with the customer is critical, at least i think so.

Well, i didnt kn ow if i needed permission to use that place or not. Or if it was exclusice for the actuall forum announcements of GameDev.net

Hey, we have a logo now, and we are currently in the process of selecting a new forum catch phrase type thing, or is it called a tag line? I dont know, but if you want to be a part of it, get in, sign up, and vote before the poll closes!

Ok, i know a triple post probably isnt normal, but it is over a while, so here is another update on the site.

We had a 3-way tie on the catchphrase for the site, so if you want to be a part of the voting to determine the winner of the last 3, then get on over here!

hey, so what, it works doesnt it? Seriously, the things that make a forum is definately not what it is based off of, ok? It is the community. I dont find this site increadibly appealing, in fact, i think it has way too many forum categories, and is fairly dificult to navigate in. PHPBB or not, it is still our site, and it is original. We made our own logo, we have our own URL, we are in the process of getting out own catch phrase, and we have something else, our own unique community. So dont go judging a forum becuase of a setup.

The only reason i am here, is because i have been consistently helped by this community and not flamed or forced out of the forums by people who think i am a newb or an idiot.

Well, i guess 1 member is all i needed then. IF no one else is interested, the MODS can lock this thing and it will never be seen again.
