Hello, I am interested in developing an application for my work. I work as a PC Repair Technician and often have to reload Windows, sometimes on vastly outdated machines. The problem with that is, of course, finding drivers. I know there are several applications available to detect Unknown PCI Devices, however I want to make my own for experience and fun :-D I have investigated it a bit, and found a helpful site (Craig's PCI Programs - http://members.datafast.net.au/dft0802/) which, among things, has the very prominent PCI vendor and device list. He also has open source code from his program. The problem is its in Pascal/Delphi... and I don't know Pascal/Delphi ! :-D I am not asking for someone to layout an entire program for me, I am just looking to find a starting point. I need to know if their is some sort of class or functions available to me in C#/Java/C++ that will allow me to query the system so I can compare the results to that list? Is there any sort of class that will return me the identification information so I can compare it to the pcidevs.txt file (example below)

D	9032	EIDE & SCSI Controller
D	9033	SCSI Controller
D	9040	Multimedia Card
D	9060	MegaRaid 434 Ultra GT RAID Controller
D	9063	MegaRAC Controller
O	101E	Dell Remote Assistant Card
S	0767	Dell Remote Assistant Card (DRAC) V2.0
V	101F	PictureTel Corp
V	1020	Hitachi Computer Electronics
V	1021	Oki Electric Industry
V	1022	Advanced Micro Devices (AMD)
D	1100	Athlon 64 / Opteron HyperTransport Technology Configuration
D	1101	Athlon 64 / Opteron Address Map
D	1102	Athlon 64 / Opteron DRAM Controller
D	1103	Athlon 64 / Opteron Miscellaneous Control
D	2000	AM79C970/1/2/3/5/6 Ethernet Adapter [PCnet LANCE]
O	1014	Netfinity Fault Tolerance PCI Adapter
S	2000	Netfinity Fault Tolerance PCI Adapter
O	1022	AM79C970/1/2/3/5/6 Ethernet Adapter [PCnet LANCE]

Eventually I hope to make this a service available across our network, and alo eventually be able to access a database of drivers that we can install on the fly. Any leads in the right direction will be greatly appreciated!!! Thank you, Evan
