I have my avatars (2D images) which I want to use in playing games which have avatars. But I want to use my own avatars for research purpose. The games do not need to be fancy, 3D, or advanced. Adventure, puzzle, or any genre work. Your expert/master advice and pointers are greatly appreciated.

Simply by the fact that this line seems to be an attempt at describing something that the OP does not have, I think that this must be a request for:

* 'Avatar' images that we (GameDev forum folks) use
* Tips to create good avatar images
