ok im pretty new to direct x and i think i added everything to the library and include and stuff on c++. it should make a green screen but i get 3 errors and 1 warning. im too new to know what the errors mean so heres my errors: [Warning] In function INT WinMain(HINSTANCE__*, HINSTANCE__*, CHAR*, int)': invalid conversion from void*' to HINSTANCE__*' invalid conversion from void*' to `HINSTANCE__*' [Build Error] [main.o] Error 1 and here's my code:

First of all, it's best to enclose source as large as that in [ source] tags (without the space).

Second of all, it compiles fine for me. What compiler are you using?

sorry bout that. i typed it in a hurry. im using dev-c++. i tried visual.net c++ 2003 but it said stuff like the compiler wasnt made to work with it or sumtin like that.
