I would like to begin creating basic 3d games as a hobby. I took the time to learn Python because I heard it was much easier then C++. Now that I'm trying to learn Pygame, all of the tutorials I've found are for creating 2d games. Is there no way to use python for 3d games?

You can use pyopengl to access OpenGL. Some 3D engines have Python bindings such as pyogre.

I think learning C/C++ for 3d programming is better then learning python. python not so easy as they told.

Python itself is easy, but there isn't as much documentation and literature, nor are there as many third-party libraries, particularly for performance-intensive activities like 3D graphics.

That said, there's always Panda3D.

Python is a great language to learn to program. It is as simple or as difficult as you want it to be. With pyogre, venom (irrlicht), or panda3d you can develop high-performance 3D applications in python.

I've tried them all. My personal opinion is that pyogre is the best. The wrapper is more mature than irrlicht's, and the documentation on panda3d is, IMO, lacking.
