I''m just after some opinions on the book, "Game Programming Gems" I find that reading a good programming book gives me the zeal to get back at it... and since i have a few bucks i have thought of picking up this title. Any words? Also any other good game programming websites that also helps to cover some fundamentals of programming also?? I come here, Gamasutra, Flipcode... I guess what i want.. is a walkthrough for programming a game which is unrealistic. But, i have found that that has helped me with modelling. Being walked through a process, and branching from there.. Pardon any repetition with what i have asked and my predecessors... I haven''t seen the board in a long long time. And I must say, there are some very good, and interesting discussions =o) Thanks forhand guys & gals... Sincerely, Brent

Game Programming Gems:

4 of 5 Stars.
It''s NOT a tutorial. It''s DirectX less. It full of useful math. However it only has 2 pages on network games.

If you have $70 bucks to blow on a book sure.. It''s good.
