[Hey mods move this if it is in the wrong place.] I have been considering getting a subscription to GDNet+. I would like to know: the discount for GDNet+ members on books is it 30-35% off the publisher price or amazon's price? --BlackViper91--

Its publisher prices, not Amazon ones. Additionally, you have to buy through the publisher to get the discounts.

Ok well your a member. Considering that I'm 14 and have limited money, is GDNet+ a good purchase?

You can think of it (and also, pay for it) as though it were a magazine subscription. Per month its not that much considering what you get out of it..

Beginning of '05 I decided to make GDNet my home and the various features (webspace+journal in particular) allowed me to do an awful lot via this site. I have no doubt that it was a good investment [smile]

If I were you, I would decide based on the features that you're going to use. If you're interested in the books then great, but theres also the showcase, journal land and your own webspace for hosting - perfect if you fancy sharing your progress (or lack thereof [lol]) with the rest of the community.

The annual price for membership is nearly nothing. If you mow a few lawns or skip out on seeing a couple of movies you'll be able to pay for membership. I thought it was a good investment so when my first year ran out I decided to pay for it again [smile]

OK thanks everyone. I will probably get it then.
