Well, here''s the scoop. My friend is a trainer for Manny Melchor. They came all the way from the philippines just a few days ago, then we dropped them off at mexico. He''s fighting this friday. Anyway, I''m going to the confrence tomorrow (wednesday west coast) and I''m going to do something. No idea why I''m going to be there, but if you see me on TV then you''ll know it''s me. I have no idea when this stuff is going to be broadcast or what channel it''s on since I don''t have cable.

I''ll do it, I won''t back down and I won''t fall out in the first round. You set it up, and schedule willing I''ll be there. There are a few boxing schools in the area, there is one in Hagerstown MD that a friend of mine goes to. Or, we could do it at my TKD school if the head instructor is willing. By then we should be full swing into our kickboxing training so he''ll probably jump at the chance to have a few real boxers come.

Actually you may be in luck, but you have to come over to CA before march and lose a few pounds. He needs a sparing partner temporarily before a fight that he may have. I don''t think it''s real smart to box with this guy though, it was a title fight that he was in.

I think a title fighter would have an easier time traveling for a fight than an 18yr-old college student trying to make enough money over the summer to pay for tuition.
And losing weight would be a bad idea, seeing as how I have very little body fat. Before I started TKD I weighed 125lbs. In 6 weeks I was up to 150lbs. Now I''m at 155 and seemed to have leveled off. I might be able to lose 5lbs, but anything after that would be losing muscle mass.
I would really like to do it, but the problem is I don''t have the time. It''s terrible, now I''m in college I''m supposed to party and have fun and stuff, but my social life consists of college classes, TKD classes, and working. Everything else is sleep, study, eat, sleep, shower, sleep, sleep, and sleep. DAMMIT! I HAVE NO SOCIAL LIFE!!!

Every month, the martial arts schools in my area get together and hold this thing called Dog Day were we just spar all day. This month (this Saturday, the 10th) Dog Day is being held at my school, and I just happen to have the time to go, so I''m going. It''s a chance for the black belts to get together and free spar, and it''s a chance for lower belts to spar the black belts one-on-one for an extended period of time and pick up some pointers. The only rules are, no hitting below the belt, wear all your gear, and spar as hard as you want to be sparred. So, I''m gonna get my assed kicked, and just have fun in generall.
