I think GForge from what I can see of other poeple websites that use it, it looks great but it requires Linux along with PostgreSQL. I was wondering if anyone know of any product that compares to GForge, as free, that works on windows, it has just been a pain setting up postgresql, I mean I can set it up but I like to have a GUI to edit it like phpadmin for mysql?

I ran GForge through its paces when I was looking for a project management system. The end result was that I liked it. Nothing compares to the features it has for a free system - nothing. You can cobble together several systems (bug tracking, forums, etc.) and come up with something close but they won't be integrated and it will be noticeable.

However, I found that it was huge. Bulky. Because it was so capable I didn't want to spend the time administrating it or learning it, and the time it would take to become second nature was large. Instead, I went with FogBugz and some minor modifications to it. (Integrated contacts, etc.) FogBugz isn't free but I was in the position of being able to spend money, if necessary. I should note that we're a Microsoft shop here and that, as such, most of our tools wouldn't fit into the workflow created by GForge.

I don't mind testing and learn GFroge, I am looking for something with ALot of features that are in working ordering. I have tried a few but some of the did not have the features i wanted and some of them had them but not tested well. I don't mind spending a little money however usuallt with these products they change per person, like SourceForge, for commerical purposes, cost 1500 per developerto buy, or 50 a month per developer, and for a indie group, that is alot of money, since we are right now in the looking for server to host CVS, website, etc... which will cost a bit of money.

The biggest thing is managing PostgreSQL, But I think I have found a webbased system for doing that.

Also for anyone who know, I don't think it will be a problem becuase they run on different port by defualt, but running MySQL and PostgreSQL on the same machine is cool, as long as they are on differetn ports, right?

Yea, as long as they're bound to different ports you should be fine.
