That's not exactly a substantial amount of information. A key piece of information might be what the game is about. That's usually how I remember game names... plot-name association.

Well it didnt really have a plot or anything. It was just a demo to showcase CG when when CG came out from NVidia. I thought NVidia made the game, but I cant find it on their website.


Also I think you had the abliity to turn into a robot and switch back into a plane, but it wasent a gundam game.

The moment you said robot, I was gonna say Shogo: Mobile Armor Division, but you can't turn into a plane in that game. was it Called Wingnuts: Temporal navigator?

Wait, that's probably not it either...

There's also Robot Alchemic Drive. It's on console though(pretty fun game in my opinion).

was it Macross/Robotech ?

It's possibly Gun Metal.

The description sounds vaguley like Aquanox. It was an underwater game (not flying), and it was written to show off 8.1 pixel shaders.
