I realize this isn't the best place for this - but this forum has some of the best programmers and fastest turnaround times so I figured I'd put this in the lounge. I'm writing an ajax mapping system and have come accross a problem in firefox. Everything works great in Opera, Safari, and IE7, and even Firefox 1.0.7, but the latest version 1.5.0.2 for some reason keeps losing events. Basically when I click and drag sometimes firefox decides to stop responding to any javascript events whatsoever. It stops catching mousemoves and misses the release at the end of the drag. This obviously causes a lot of problems with the program. I think that this is because firefox thinks I'm trying to drag the image somewhere (like the address bar) and thus disables all the page javascript but I havn't had much luck figuring out how to disable this feature. Has anybody here encountered a similar problem/have any ideas?
