E3 pass

I have a pass and I ve never been to E3 before. After I show them my ID and register at the lobby, each time I enter/exit would they check ID again or only glance that one has a badge. I m in the uncomfortable situation that some friends want to go too... Would I get in trouble if I let them use my badge. Other shows I ve been to, GDC, CTIA, etc. are pretty lax. Only glance-overs.

They glance at your badge for the expo; they scan it with a handheld something-or-other for courses, talks, etc. I've never had to show ID (other than registration).
