Does anyone know of any software I can use to setup a software wireless access point? Our wireless router has just had to go back to linksys and I want to play on my nintendo ds. [sad] Degra

I assume Windows still has Internet Connection Sharing; I've used that before to share out wi-fi but I don't know if it will work for your Nintendo.
The DS requires an access point - it can't connect via ad hoc. I'll have a look at ICS, thanks.

The "Soft AP" function on my desktop's wireless card appears to just use ICS, and it appears as an Infrastructure node when scanning with my laptop.
You can make ad-hoc connection with windows, from the control panel, if your computer has a wireless card.
