Hello. I am on a project involving 3D graphics which have to be rendered via a web-browser. While on the lookout for suitable APIs, I came across X3D, which is a candidate (for now at least). Can you suggest or even recommend any others? Any ideas will be greatly appreciated! Regards.

Can Java3D work within a java applet ? if so, maybe it's a possibility.

WildTangent is a commercial solution is that is the sort of thing you are looking for. Looking at thier website though, I don't see thier SDK for download anymore... I thought in the past you could make your own games using thier stuff.
The trade-off between price and quality does not exist in Japan. Rather, the idea that high quality brings on cost reduction is widely accepted.-- Tajima & Matsubara

Are you referring to the HotWire SKD? It is available for download but doesn't seem to quite fit the bill.

The WildTangent HOT (HTML on a Texture) SDK offers game developers and publishers the ability to easily integrate in-game and full-screen web based advertisements without the hassles of a custom developed solution. For the first time, game developers can use regular HTML (which includes static images, animated images and even Macromedia Flash® animations) delivered from regular web based advertising servers to display ads that are fully integrated into the game in full 3D environment with a seamless experience.

Thanks for the reply anyway.
