Is the DirectX documentation available in any other form than the Windows Help Executable, such as PDF or pure HTML? I want to take it with me on my trip tomorrow, but my laptop is a Mac which can't use the Windows Help Executables. Any ideas or resources?

I've only ever seen it in chm format but this tool may help. http://chmox.sourceforge.net/

Use wget to create a working copy/subset of the MSDN online documentation.

I'm unfamiliar with that. Is that a commandline tool?

Just tested it out. It works on loading the index, but never loads the table of contents, proving quite ineffective. Thanks though.

I did find more on wget and will try that out soon. Hopefully that does the trick.

EDIT: wget did not work. It just downloaded the .asp file from the MSDN library. I think I'm just out of luck. I'll check back in the morning to see if anyone has any tips. I do have about an hour in the morning when I can try something.

Not quite as nice, but I did find File Juicer, which extracts HTML and everything else out of CHM files. It worked pretty nice, but left me a folder with 3700+ objects inside of it (images and HTML mostly). I guess I have to do what I have to do.
