I currently have a need to use Volume Textures to represent 2D slices of data in an 3D environment. I have been able to load a direct draw surface file with my slices and render them to a quad using Managed DirectX 1.1. I then manipulate the tw coordinate to make the quad appear animated. However, this is not the desired effect that I wish to accomplish. I would like to fill a cube with all my slices to create a 3D view of the data. I am reading the GPU Gems book regarding this subject and feel this is very possible to do. However, I am having trouble finding any example source code. If anyone knows of any good links, ideas, or references please let me know. I'd prefer managed directx example code, but would not mind non managed code either. Bill
