I am thinking about embedding Python into my game engine. My only concern would be how to hide my scripts from the user. Is there a way to do this? Thanks in advance

You can include the .pyc or .pyo files rather than the .py files. You can use import hooks to load the scripts from a zip file, or an encrypted file or whatever.

You can also not bother. [smile]

The average user doesn't know what a .py file is. The above average user will be able to find a Python decompiler and read your scripts anyways.

Edit: but use compiled ones anyways, it speeds up load time.
