I asked this a few weeks before, so sorry for the double post. But I didn't get answers then, so I like to try it again :) Anyway, I need to lit a textured object with OpenGL. That's not difficult, but now I have an object where some pixels need to be lit, and others not. To be more specific, I have a cube with textures with windows on it. The wall part of the texture should be lit, but the window pixels not. When it's night, it would be nice if the window turns out yellow or something. I can't use shaders, so I have to fix it with default OpenGL. Is it possible to light a texture the way I want? Maybe I can add an alpha map, that describes which pixels should be lit, and which not. But how? Greetings, Rick

You mean I apply 2 textures to it
- the wall itself (litten)
- the (transparent) window texture (not litten, or at least colored different)
? Hmmm... I think that could work indeed, thanks!

Greetings,
Rick
