Which IDE is better for C# development? Which would you use if you were making a MMORPG?

The only thing that really matters is which one would be best for you, which is not a question that we can really answer. You can try out both for free right now, so why not give both a shot and see which you like better?

I've downloaded #develop. I think i'll just stick with that.

SharpDevelop is great, it's just not having a debugger built in can get rather annoying.

Sharpdevelop does have an integrated debugger.
Not to mention other features like refactoring support, support for compiling to different runtimes (mono and .net 1.1 as well as 2.0) and support for other .NET languages like boo.

If you're concerned about distribution of a project's source and not knowing which project files to pack, you can use .NET Prebuild to create the project files for you.

They are both fairly riddled with bugs. I would say that it depends on what kind of development that you are doing.

If you are doing non gui (winforms, gdi) development, either will work fine.
If you are doing web development I would go with sharp develop unless you can afford vs.net pro.
If you are doing game dev, then either will likely work fine, though I use VS.Net for game dev.
