From the specs, i would think the 7900gt would be faster. Core speed doesn't say much (just like CPU speed). The 7900GT has twice the memory bandwidth and twice the pixel pipes. I would look for some reviews of the cards and find some relative benchmarks to make sure.

Yea. Calculating it out, for $35 more, I could get about a 80% performance boost with the 7900GT. Thanks!
