GNU Make file error

i installed dev-cpp version 4.9.9.2 on my new computer and when i tried to compile, i got the error "The system cannot find the file specified". Then when i restarted dev-cpp, I got a dialogue at startup that said that i am mising the GNU make file in Dev-cpp's Bin path.

Go to your install directory and check the bin directory within for make.exe.

check your dev-cpp project settings for the path (I think it should have included it by default)

If your install directory has spaces in it (e.g. if you decided to put it into Program Files or something), that might also be why.
