[java] Please help (emergency?)

I have one hour to submit an assigment in java. It runs well on the eclipse, but I get errors when I try to compile it with javac, erros such as: expected public ArrayList getActiveCourseAnnouncements(); cannot resolve symbol symbol: method CreateMaterialTree location: class controller.Controller Do you know why I may get such errors? Thanks in advance.

I know this is not an answer, but why do you need to compile it again with javac? Perhaps it is possible to avoid that troublesome step.

Double check thet the JDK versions of Eclipse and your manually invoked javac match! You obviously use generics and those are supported by the latest JDK versions only. Make sure the javac comes from the correct JDK.

Just of the top of my feable mind I would say class path issues. Maybe eclipse is specifing libraries that your direct compile using javac is not. Just a guess.
