When you save it, there are a few options, such as bitrate I believe. Just lower that amount and it should save under.

ya, i shrank teh single pic sizes.. and i couldnt find the setting in image ready. but teh smallest i could get it to was 10k...

and its not nott.com

Try this on for size. I don't think it's 100% as pretty, but it's 8k.

Edit: Oh, shoot, you said under 7.1k. Here. Not great quality...it was the best I could do. :-\

haha, thats awesome! thanks dude! but uh i just made a new one, so how did you make that? i changed teh nott.com to teh actual words so nobody mixes it up. and on teh word 'the' fingers get ahead of themselves sometimes. =)

;) Yeah, I was just messing with you.

I actually used Jasc Animation Shop, which comes with Paint Shop Pro. I changed the bitrate down. (That last one's only 7 colors supposedly =P) And I also used an option to reduce colors that AniShop called 'Error Diffusion'.

Not sure if that helps you with whatever software you're using, but if you post the new gif, I'll be glad to run it through the same filter as before.

update at 'teh' top of 'teh' thread =)

its still really jumpy.. ive madea few good ones, but i want to be able to use them in aim/msn without them looking like crap. so this is as close to "good" as i can get.

GDNet is for game development-related posting, and I see no indication from your prior posts that you have any interest in using it for such. Find a visual arts forum to do your image compressing for you.
