Hello, I have a question regarding meshes vs objects. Let's suppose I have the scene that will have 100 copies of the same object. I create a X file with the mesh for the object. Now my question is: Do I create 100 Mesh objects, or create a single mesh object and then place a reference for that mesh in the objects, thus having a single mesh shared by all objects? ( I think the second option is correct). Onother thing: I don't know if I've understanded the WORLD TRAMSFORM correctly. When I want to position the objects, do I have to make a call to SetTransform(D3DTS_WORLD) for each object?

You share the mesh between the objects, and you change the world transform for every object.
