Does anyone know of an easy way to load an AVI file and bind the frames to textures? I can't get the NeHe lesson 35 method to work.

Why doesn't the nehe demo work?

If I knew that, there wouldnt be a problem.

I THINK that the problem might be in generating the textures and subsequently binding them (which the NeHe code doesnt seem to do).

Well, I didn't mean "why" as in the technical reason, I meant more "why" as in what is not happening correctly.

Have you looked at the various chunks of code that come with the tutorial? There seems to be a VC one.

What doesnt work/work right: The quad that is supposed to be textured with the frames shows up blank (that is, in the current normal drawing color).

Did I look at the code? Yes, in my case I used the Dev-Cpp code since I use Dev-Cpp on my development platform.

If you try to draw a textured quad elsewhere, does it appear textured?

Yes, my bitmap drawing routines work perfectly. The thing is, the AVI frames are not drawn through my bitmap routines. And as far as I can tell, the frames arent even bound in the NeHe code.
