Wait a tick... I may have suddenly lost half my brain cells, but doesnt FILO mean First In - Last Out - Meaning a stack.. So wouldnt you be wanting a FIFO queue here?

I'm looking for a header logo for my GDNET journal, Destructive Design. I'd like the color theme to match the default black/blue GDNET theme, and there to be some kind of samurai/swordsy/destructive imagry to it. The logo as a whole should feel self-contained with a black background. (EDIT: Or, a transparent background. Which I normally fail to realize exists.) Dimension-wise, 600x120 pixels would fit perfectly, however, the height may range anywhere from 60-200 pixels to suit your needs.



I'd like to pay via Paypal - PM me the account to send the money to and I'll get the payment to you tommorrow sometime. Hopefully you'll decide to use FIFO instead of FILO - I'd hate to be the last one to boast more of your awesome stuff.

EDIT2: Yep. After reading Wikipedia a "logo" is definitely not the same thing as a "banner". In any case, I'd still like to see what you can do for me. I guess my request would be the exact same as above, except with more logo-ish dimensions. As opposed to banner-ish dimensions. LOL. I can't wait until I have to deal with people like myself. Hur hur hur. In any case, I have such faith in your mad skillz that I have no doubt that you'll not fail to please. Just make sure to let me know where to send teh monnies.

I'd love to get in on this, too! Never having asked for anything like this, I'm not sure about exactly what info I should put, but I hope this is about right.

I could use a logo for my website for my music and sound self-promotion website, http://www.jervinmusic.com. The logo should contain either the text "Jervin Music" or "JErvin Music" - I'm not sure if the E should be capital or not, so either way would be fine. I don't need the logo in a specific size, but it should work displayed at the top of the page.

Ideally, it, or a variant on it, would also work to be displayed in banner advertisements or have an icon that I could have you or another graphics designer change for use as an avatar or for other linking, advertisement, and display. My current web page is based off a free online template and I'm planning to change it, so the logo doesn't need to match the color or style. Since I will hopefully get my act together and get a whole new website soon, I'm also interested in any kind of style a logo might suggest.

I imagine you're about to be flooded with requests, but should that somehow not be the case and you need more, it would be great to get an icon for an avatar, banner ad, and similar matching the logo as I previously mentioned (paying for teh additional work, too, certainly). I can pay via paypal or other method; just let me know where to send it!

I'll get one of them too, i've got someone lined up to work on branding in a little while, but it wouldn't hurt to get a logo design from you as it may well be better.

Well the unedited logo is currently just a big old graphical font I found for the symbol, and some lame text which nearly fits it:

The pixelated background is intentional but not perfect by any stretch, I like the design quite a bit as a concept - but it's litteraly that size, so not print quality (i'd idealy like a v high resolution version) and it doesn't exactly integrate into a website or.. well anything [grin].

Something that works in 320x200 or 640x400 (while looking okay scaled down to 320x200) is preferred if possible. (resolutions for adventure games i'm attempting to do, if you want to do it smaller, that's fine and it can just be centred.)

I have a small project studio recording business that I run from my basement. It's called XXII-22 Productions.

I need a logo that resembles the one found at myspace. If you scroll down to the comments on the page, there is one by XXII-22 Productions. It has 3 isometric boxes that are purple, red, and blue. if I could get a large logo that resembles this in some way I would be very very thankful.

As long as it's fairly simplistic, even with the company name at the bottom in old-school video game font (System font maybe) it would be great.

Your free to use the logo's that you designed on for my site if you wish. Also if you're up for it I have some game artwork for you to do. Right now I'm mapping out the texture blocks for the game using basic colours, so they can eventually be filled in.

Probably a variety of factors. If you look at that guy's profile, you'll notice he made 2 posts. Which means 1 was deleted.

From that, we can't say exactly what happened in that first post since we're not priviledged enough to view deleted posts. But I'd imagine it was annoying enough to not cut him any slack after an initial "Don't do that" warning.

Salsa, on the other hand, is a well-known and awesome artist who is, rather than soliciting purely for profit, is asking us for ideas for him to enhance his portfolio. Yes, he is charging some money, but compared to normal prices its hardly substantial enough to be considered spam.

Finally, Salsa is a moderator, and as a moderator is allowed a little extra lee-way on the forums. Because, hey, they deserve it - their awesome volunteer work deserves something, right?
