I want to support multi-player (actually two players only) in a game I'm working on. I use DirectX9 for all the input, Graphics, etc.. I couldn't find in the docs how to set up a connection or transferring data over the net. Is DirectX is prefferable ? I also used ACE_... libraries, anyone knows which is more simple ? thx.
There is nothing that can't be solved. Just people that can't solve it. :)

I've used Raknet library to do this in the past for simple games, you can get simple networking up in a variety of ways fairly quickly, and the docs aren't bad at all.

Yeah, DirectX used to have DirectPlay but its deprecated now. I've also used RakNet before, its great. I highly recommend.
