I stumbled across a very helpful resource on GameDev regarding impulse in collision response. I believe it was in pdf format, it was a two-part article on collision detection / response.... it has lavender borders..... Anywhoo, it also had some very useful formulas on impulse as derived from Newton's Law of Restitution. I've searched all (by my standards) relevant articles under Articles & Resources, but I can't seem to find it again. If anyone could post the link I would greatly appreciate it. I think that would be Chris Hecker's articles. Try googling for 'chris hecker physics' (post back if you can't find it).
