I have two problems. First, sometimes when my computer boot up, its says "overclocking failed" and I need to enter the setup BIOS or press F2 to load the default. I pressed F2, yet the problem reoccur from time to time. Second, when I do properties on one of my drives, it shows there is more used space then the folders and files actualy use. I think it is some sort of a trojen horse, but my anti virus and anti spyware detect nothing. What should I do?

1. Well, if your computing is complaining about overclocking, there are probably some bios settings that occasionally make it stuff up. I mean, if it works when you load the defaults, you should take a look to see if there seem to be any glaring differences between what you know of the defaults and what your settings are.

2. How much more is being used? Because the computer doens't allocate memory by the byte. It works in pages (a section of memory). So, if you have a 1kb file on your computer, it will be stored in a 4kb page. So, when you take a look at the properties, "size on disk" will be 4kb, while the actual size of the file could be less than 1kb.

Is this the difference? Because it is like that for every single file, although the way you talk about it, I'm assuming that you've lost a couple of hundred meg, or a couple of gig. In that case, don't even bother reading my explanation, it's probably nothing like that.

What is generic host process for win32?
Also, if I format my hard disk, then there is no chance I will have viruses or malware on it?
