Can GLEE with a function call query your VC's extension support and return a char* to the list?

buffer = glGetString(GL_VENDOR);buffer = glGetString(GL_EXTENSIONS);//renderer//version

does GLEE have someway to dump all of these in one nice string so I can dump them without calling all teh glGetString()'s just looking at cleaning up code...

why not simple just check the header file to see what functions are there to use? this would have answered your question so much faster...

Cause when this is one other people systems I have no clue what they support. So it would be nice to print this to a file and they can send it to you if they want to help determine why it won't run...

Simply print out the values to a log-file?

I don't know, but GLFW can, and I think that GLEW can as well (pretty sure it can). GLEW is for handling GL extentions, while GLFW is a complete framework designed to abstract the hardware rendering handles and such so as to make that part of the code OS independant. Not sure if this is pertinant to your situation, but if GLEE doesn't do it and you can use GLEW I'd suggest doing that. Or if you want to replace tedious code for window handles etc. I recommend GLFW - that can most definitely do what you want.

Yes to print it out... I am becoming lazy and tired of reinventing the wheel if you will. I ended up coding it out myself...

Thanks for the tip ChaosWars

I think he meant check the GLEE header to see if there is a function like the one you want....
