Hello. I'm using the GBA tutorial at http://www.aaronrogers.com/ham/Day4/day4.php, and the Visual HAM IDE. I'm on Backgrounds - Bitmap Modes and am having trouble with it. Mainly with this part: ________________________________________________________________________________ For all of my tutorials I work exclusively with bitmaps. I've created a picture (which is quite ugly) called bg.bmp. It is a 240x160 pixel, 8 bit bitmap. This is important because ham_LoadBitmap() requires this when using Mode 4. Copy bg.bmp to your directory. For these tutorials we'll have a subdirectory gfx for all of the graphics used in our games. Change to that directory and type: gfx2gba -D -fsrc -pbg.pal -t1 bg.bmp. ________________________________________________________________________________ I don't understand what to do here. I would really appreciate it if someone explained it a little better. bg.bmp is a link to the picture he made. I know I'm supposed to do something with it, but not what it is. Once again, help is appreciated. Thank You.

You'll probably supposed to download bg.bmp and some program called gfx2gba, which likely converts the bitmap format into something more useable. After you put them both into the same directory, open up the command prompt, goto the directory and type "gfx2gba -D -fsrc -pbg.pal -t1 bg.bmp"(without quotes).

Thank you Scet. That worked. But now when I try to compile the example, I get the following error:

________________________________________________________________________________
makefile:47: /system/master.mak: No such file or directory
makefile:76: /system/standard-targets.mak: No such file or directory
make: *** No rule to make target `/system/standard-targets.mak'. Stop.

Could someone please explain the problem and how to fix it?
