Hello, a few weeks ago, i found out, that the performance goes down using my own glsl shader while transmission of data to the framebuffer. After all, i found the solution, that i can transmit the data first to the framebuffer using the default shader and then apply my shader while copying the data from one color buffer to the next. Now, i wanted to use the glSeparableFilter2D function, since it seems to be smart for small filters. The problem is, that the framerate is very low, just like the issue i reported before. The workaround i mentioned above do not work, since the separable filter function is applied during transmission. Now, my question is, do somebody use this function successful at a high framerate? If that is the case, what has to be considered to enable the high framerate? Thanks in advance Regards, Stefan

maybe you fall back to software rendering. is your glsl shader done by hardware (ARB_SHADING_LANGUAGE_100) and do you have the GL_ARB_imaging extension?
