My brand new wireless router isn't allowing me to share files inbetween the two computers. It's driving me mad, trying to connect my desktop to the notebook. I can share the internet, but I can't share the files or the printer. The router is horrible in my opinion, and I greatly dislike it. My question is this; since I can easily return the router to the store, is there some way to just use the local area network, the one that I had before with only phone wires and a hub, and instead use a bluetooth phone wire or something? Something I could just plug in as a phone wire, flip to matching channels on it, and have it act like a phone wire? I had thought such things existed, but I can't find it on bestbuy's site, or radioshack's site. Or, what would you suggest? Obviously the router could share files, it just doesn't like me. [sad] I don't wish to keep this router, but if you have an alternitive to bluetooth catcords I'd like to here it. Perferbly something that doesn't have me having to install more software. Both comps use windows XP.
