Clicky I'm glad they found it. When I heard it had been stolen I felt kind of disapointed. I've never actually seen it but when a classic piece of art gets snatched in broad daylight it makes you sad knowing that people might not be able to enjoy viewing it anymore. I just hope security will be a lot tighter this time around [lol]

Ugh, thank god indeed. I kinda freaked out when I heard they suspected it was burned.

I still wonder how they planned to sell it.

Really? I always figured that there'd be a huge market for it (uugh blackmarket that is) but I guess I was wrong considering they've been holding on to it for the past two years.

I don't know, I figured they would of had a plan before hand. I mean what kind of idiot steals the scream only to put it in his closet for two years?[lol]

They probably just thought "Lets steal it and sell it." These guys aren't exactly master planning geniuses, they ran in in BROAD DAYLIGHT and took off.

There are at least 4 versions of The Scream out there, and two of them have been stolen (including this one). Edvard Munch made a bunch of different versions for some odd reason.
This is my signature. There are many like it, but this one is mine. My signature is my best friend. It is my life. I must master it as I must master my life. My signature, without me, is useless. Without my signature, I am useless.

And weren't found for two years. They would have gotten away with it too, if it weren't for those pesky kids.

They could have threatened to burn it unless they got money for it (ie: hold it for ransom). Who said they were going to sell it?

Maybe they just wanted to own priceless works of art? If Carmen San Diego has taught me anything, its that not all villains are in it for the money.

The man had a lot of screaming to do.

But yeah. It is great that they recovered it. I too was under the impression that it had been burned.
