Memarzation

I'm sick of not being able to remember people's names, formulas, ect. I've spend hours studying and trying to memorize things to find that by the next morning. I seem to only be able memorize something right away or I just can't remember it at all. I spend so much time studying now a days for just one class that I've had 4 times that pretty soon it will be imposible for me to review everything, I've done so far in the class daily and study for my other classes.

Try to study on for 30min, off for 10min, or something like that. Works for me!

Don't try to cram the night before an exam. When you are studying, take it easy, don't pressure yourself too much, and take breaks. If you have all day free, instead of studying for 2 hours in the evening, study in 15-20 minute blocks spread all throughout the day. It's much less exhaustive that way.

I don't know how good of advice this is, but as far as I'm concerned I think I do better just not memorizing or studying everything about whatever subject I'm learning. I usually try to make absolutely sure I understand the big, important concepts, then try to use my understanding of the basic concepts to fill in the blanks on the nitty gritty details. It usually works for me, in general I have a pretty good memory. I'm not so good with names, though. I mean, I'm not especially bad, but I do have a tendency to forget names rather than remember them.
