Hi, Is it possible to load an gif or png with alpha channels into a .Net Compact Framework 2 application running on Windows Mobile 5.0. So that if i draw them on a Graphics context the transparency will be correct. I get all white now :s EDIT: i know about the setColorKey method, but this is not ideal, since there are shadows Thanks. On Mobile 5, you can mix it yourself (always an option), or use AlphaBlend, or use DirectDraw mobile (often has hardware support), or use D3D Mobile (a few devices have hardware support).

Since you're using managed forms, you will probably have to do some p/invoke. I don't know if all the functions are available in Managed form.

As always with WM, hardware support and availability varies, and the list above is in order of availability. Software-only and mixed implementations of the DDM and D3DM are available on most (all?) WM5 devices.

ok, thanks.
I'll take a look into that. PInvoke all the way :)

Greetings.
