problems with dev-cpp

Hello, community! Just having some problems compiling with dev-cpp. I thought it would be a good idea to compile with this compiler, before I got too far into my engine, since I want it to be cross-platform. Anyway, I keep getting the following error messages about the following source code:

	typedef std::wstring String;
	typedef std::wfstream FileStream;
	typedef std::wifstream InputFileStream;
	typedef std::wofstream OutputFileStream;
	typedef std::wstringstream StringStream;
	typedef std::wistringstream InputStringStream;
	typedef std::wostringstream OutputStringStream;

expected init-declarator before "FileStream" expected ,' or ;' before "FileStream" about all the declarations above. What does this all mean. And all this worked with vc++ 2005 standard. Thanks, exorcist_bob
