Programmer C++ needed

Original Post
Team name: not yet needed... Project name: We will discuss it much later! Brief description: First we will create a game engine, until we have enough features. For this project we will for the first game engine project ever show how we are reasoning! This is sad: how many math books or any other education books do the author show how he/she reasoned? It's the most valuable thing to show when teaching advanced concepts. I even quitted school because of this, so I will have a lot of time! I cannot be specific at all about the game project, because it is more a system of algorithms... It will be a world full of intelligent & interesting beings that is able to interact with every other object in the game, & there will of course be a goal & big challanges in the game, but this goal can change after every re-generation of the world, as will be generated by an algorithm I have in my head... When I have described that algorithm for you, & the possabilities of it, you will understand more what the game is about. It will be a world where mechanical wonders is everywhere, & magic isn't even needed as an extra "magical feeling". & you are able to participate in building your own things... It will have the feature <to be able to evolve your character>, that is always a motivation: <to be able to become better>! & we will let the user use its creativity to solve the huge variety of problems in the game. We will focus at: *great interaction! *creating most arts algoritmically! *the new hardware! *A.I & "creative" NPC's! *building our own technology! *movability of creatures! (simulated torque) It will be an algorithmically challange for us! & I have some groundbreaking ways of dealing with it! I'm just sharing the abstract structure of the game, but I want someone to discuss it more specific. & I'm flexible for taking in new views & ideas! Because creating an engine for a 3D world that one can interact very much in, can easily be changed into any other applications that we want to develop. Target aim: For the game project: For people that loves to enter a new very interesting world, & to be able to interact in interesting ways. For the engine: To share knowledge that was pretty hard to get. Compensation: We need to produce in order to earn anything. We will use a new currency: As 1 team we may earn 1 sum of money. But inside the team it's first splitted up equally, then we can reward eachother with gifts for their hard work & support! That will work because in the end we will know eachother well & know how to share nicely! Technology: Operating system: As many as possible, I'm right now on win32. Tools: *C++ *My physics engine that is being developed (it will be able to optimized simulate creatures movement, that no earlier engines can [from what I know]). *The best tools that we can find, I want help because I always want to find the smartest ways of creating things. *The first thing we should find/create is a software to make cooperative creativity easier, like making our plans clear, I haven't found any yet... Talent needed: Human being with well developed reasoning skills needed! (needed everywhere in this confused world now adays...) But I will teach you how to reason better, so if you aren't sure if you have great reasoning skills: contact me also if you have good experience in C++, & that you have a great experience in a wide area of programming, & a great motivation for becoming a better (or the best! that seem to be a naive motiavation, but its a great one! keep it up!) programmer! & it whould be good that you feel that you can create almost anything -- just that time is needed. Team structure: Only me: I have been dealing with very complex projects, that have changed the way I think. I have been trying to apply my reasoning skills to the troubeled world & a lot weird projects, but I'm right now lacking external stimulus (I'm just thinking all the time), & that is not good for my motivation... But I think that when we start to discuss how we will finish the projects, I will be more happy, I love cooperative creativity! I'm a good game-designer because of my understanding of psychology & my way of reasoning. I did an attempt to write a book about game-design & psychology, that discusses entertainment & education. But it remained as an rater short evaluation of my psychological skills applied to game-design... But why not create a game that shows how psychology should be applied instead!? But that is not my only skill to be able to say that I'm a serious game creator. I have been developing my own physics engine & a theoretical graphics engine, without reading books -- I like to develop my reasoning skills. & applying my reasoning to as many different subjects as possible! ... & I have earned a better understanding by doing so. Now I do just want to rest from the complexities of doing everything on my own, & to get some nice external stimulus! I'm the organizer, & the first teacher of this team, we will all share our wisdom, but my wisdom is very abstract, & an organizer should always have its knowledge in that domain. But just trust that I have an organizing power & contact me, only by comunication I can find if I got the right understanding of homo-sapiens potential, as I believe is much higher than we have seen. But don't be afraid that I'm some mad scientist/psychologist that will make some weird experiments on you -- I just want to help you all! hehe.. it confirms that I havent read any books about programming!
Since I need someone that doesn't relay at too much knowledge, but at abstract thinking there will be no broken link because of minor problems with the language used to comunicate with. Since we are not computers...

in his defense I believe English is a second language.
So chill on his thread.

do you have msn messenger?
I'm working on a similar project, where I'm trying to simulate an ecosystem Here's a link to the forum.
From your post I'm not sure exactly what you're working on, but we may be able to help each other.

I prefare Skype (free & fast, download easily at skype.com), I think you will easily find how to add my e-mail there.
Exactly what I'm working on is acctually not clear, but I know by what rules that I will build the world with. & that is why it's just an algorithmically challange.
I'm intressting in building simulators, so I like to talk with you.
"branches of math" I guess I automatically have, because that my <axioms/rules of reasoning> now works good. I hated the math in school, because it was just about learning specific rules of math that someone with a more fundamental set of reasoning rules have found! I whould like to find out the more specific concepts of mathematics & programming -- & by that develop my own set of axioms in my head. So that I'm able to solve any kinds of problems in the future! & that should be practised in the schools... I have just been tortured by teachers that think that they are so professional by knowing so much specific mathematics, but they have no idea of how to explain how "they" reasoned to find some specific formula... But what made Leonardo da Vinci so great in that many subjects? Do you think that he learned everything he knew from a teacher? No he did learn & reason about everything himself!
Think about the possabillities of having a big society of Leonardos! The world whould become a really beutiful place!!!

I'm not trying to be rude here or anything, but I really didn't understand much of what this project is all about. Is it some kind of AI simulation? To me it mostly just sounded like alot of empty talk really... and not any substance about the actual game/simulation.
But I wish you luck in your endeavors!

If you whould understand what I meant with "algorithmically challange" you whould maybe understand, is that thing not clear? (I'm not sure of my grammar, so I'm seriously asking) Ok, to be more clear: I'm making an engine that simulates the things that I wrote about. & I will be a lot more specific about what I mean if you contact me.
In order to find people who are willing to invest time to help you, you need to help us understand your idea first.
You need to transmit a clear structured vision to the readers to catch attention.
Every game is based on algorithms and many of them are challenging. This is nothing special and doesn't need the attention you devoted to it in your post.
You mention previous projects you have been working on, show us the results.
Finished work is important to estimate the chances of success at the current project.
Or what about the current state of your physics engine and how are you developing it without any knowledge in a programming language (you didn't mention anything about that).
I think solving some of the issues would attract more people to your project and I wish you best luck with it.
