Ok well i began programming by learning C++, i didnt get too far in it, i got up to the point where i could make text based games but never graphical games. Then i moved on to Java. I am thinking if i should move back to C++ as i want to begin creating Games. Is creating Games in C++ easier than Java or is it just that it runs them faster? How is C++ with networking? the types of games i hope to create FAR in the future or multiplayer shooters, nothing big, or some kind of rpg with chat. Is C++ a good way to go and should i make the switch now?

Well, I don't know C++ or Java. But from what I have heard/seen, the are both pretty similar as far as general ease, but I think Java is better for networking. Again, I don't actually know either language, so you should probably get an opinion from someone who does.

The best language is the language in your heart! No seriously, look at some big code samples of both and see which one you enjoy looking at more. I mean, down the line you'll just end up staring at your code for long periods of time.
