I wish someone would do the a version of the workshop only in python. I know everyone would be begging for the same thing in the language that they are learning but i think it'd be fun in python.

Well, demand for Python isn't as high here (you don't have people encouraging beginners to use Python because it's "the industry standard" as you do with C++ - tragically), plus Python is not nearly as complicated and obtuse as C++. It'd have to be quite different, more focused on using Python than on learning Python, because there are a ton of excellent "learning Python" resources out there.
