I could use your services to help with Exploring Azoundria, my text-based MMORPG. Writers use text, a simple scripting language, and HTML to build and modify the world. You can take advantage of stats, items, variables, battle, trade, chat, music, and more...

We could use a few more quest writers. Check out the site at:

For the most part, I've learned to keep critiques to myself when browsing the forums because more often than not, sound advice gets ignored. However, the manner in which this post was presented represents a small but avoidable violation of common sense witnessed often in the help wanted section. This is the third time in the past two weeks that I've seen someone promoting themselves as a writer, yet lacking the most fundamental writing skills. Can people at least capitalize the correct letters and use proper punctuation? Or maybe it's just that aspiring game designers, writers, artists, and programmers just don't care to appear professional anymore.

Ok, sorry for that but it had to be said. I think what would help you out is providing references or links to previous work that you've done so potential teams may consider you with an understanding of your background and ability.

I apologize again for coming down so harsh on your writing mechanics, but they are important, especially when you're trying to make a first impression as an aspiring writer. Good ideas and story organization are equally important, but the basics shouldn't be ignored. It'd be like me promoting myself as a 3d artist but having normals flipped the wrong way in my sample models, having 7 sided polygons, having non-manifold geometry, etc. It wouldn't serve to prove my merit as an artist and would certainly make a potential team/employer think twice about my abilities.

My strategy is to partner writer with tester so that the writers mistakes or flaws are noticed and corrected before they end up in the game.
