I need to re-install a Windows XP Home computer from a friend. The computer itself has a Windows XP license sticker, but she lost her CD. So, I think it's legal download an ISO and use that. I tried 2 BT sites that host a wide variety of illegal content, but none of them have a working torrent with a HOME edition ISO. Does the Microsoft site house such ISOs? Or does anyone know a good place to obtain a CD on short term? Toolmaker

On your MSDN subscription, go to operating systems, Windows XP, Windows XP Home Edition, Windows XP Home Edition with Service Pack 2, then click on the Dutch link, then click the download link (if you don't have the MSDN downloader ActiveX control you'll need to lower security to let it install)

Or borrow a CD. AFAIK valid keys work on all CD. At least this used to work with Office CD's.

Anything other method of obtaining CD's is probably illegal, so i'm closing this before people start suggesting/linking to warez sites.
