Optimizing the Render Batch

How should I optimize the render batches? According to the texture use, or by batching them together to reduce the SetSteamsource command? If I am to batch to reduce the SetStreamsource command, does that mean I have to recreate the buffer everytime to merge all the objects together? Example: Frame1: Obj1, Obj2, Obj10 --> Means combine Obj1, 2 and 10 into one buffer and then draw. Frame2: Obj3, Obj5, Obj6 --> Recreate and combine Obj3, 5 and 6 into one buffer and then draw. Won't that be slow? How then should I go about optimizing my rendering? Thanks

It can depend on the scene - but generally, I order it by: shader -> buffers -> constants. If you have a scene with a lot of different buffers to render from, this is probably best to go with. However, if you have a scene with a few buffers and a lot of shaders, it would be better to go with buffers -> shader -> constants.

Check out this KBase article for a little more info.
