Hi I'm storing some game elements in my game engine as std::map<> and I want to list them in my lua scripts. I don't especially want to export "style coding style" (iterators) as I want it to be as black box as possible. Does someone have any idea how I would to such a thing ?

What I want generally is a simple way to enumerate a std::map<>, std::list<> and so on in my engine with out giving a stl iterator. DirectX has a way to enumerate devices (look here) with the function EnumDisplayDrivers(). I would like to know other (simple) methodes to do a such thing.
