hrmm i've just done a format, and now all my svn stuff which was on e: is now on d: trying to relocate my checked out code didnt work, so i did a dodgey, checked out a fresh version, and over wrote it with the origonally checked out version. Then I had to do a relocate on it again which worked. How ever when i go to check in i get an error saying : Error: Can't create directory 'd:\Programming\SVNRepository\db\transactions\545-1.txn': The system cannot find the path specified. this file doesnt exist, so i check my back up, it doesnt exist in there either!? is there any way to fix this stuff up? my last resort would be to make a new repository with the latest code....

545-1.txn shouldn't exist already, but d:\Programming\SVNRepository\db\transactions\ should - does it? If it doesn't, how much of that path does exist?

As something else which in general is useful to try before the last resort of deleting all the repository history: svnadmin dump (you might need the command-line SVN tools, rather than just TortoiseSVN) should work when you give it the path (not URL) of the repository, then you can create a new clean repository and svnadmin load it back in. But I'm not sure why that would help in this case - it ought to be possible to get your old repository working.
