GDnet going down? Telus/Routing Problem?

This last few weeks I have been reading alot of posts on GDnet and sometimes the forums will be unaccessible from this connection for up to 10 minutes at a time. I was wondering if any other users were having this same problem? Is it the forums going down or is it a specific to me routing issue as I cannot successfully do a full tracert to this sites domain. Thanks, parawizard edit: Just to say I concluded this to be the most accurate forum placement for this post I could think of.

Hi parawizard,

You're not entirely alone. Every now and then I get a 502 (or maybe it's a 503) web server error.

502 - Server congestion; too many connections; high traffic. Keep trying until the page loads.

503 - Server busy, site may have moved ,or you lost your dial-up Internet connection.

Either way, it usually returns to normal within a couple minutes. My conclusion: GDNet must be one heck of a popular place (of course, a more technical explanation might be in order from someone better versed in that area) :)

I don't think im having the same problem. I know connectivity to forums can be intermitant at times but Im actually losing 100% connection to GDnet. For 10 minutes plus. Though it could possibly be the same problem :)

I didn't have this problem on my old cable connection but I have moved and I am now on adsl. So I have been leaning towards ISP routing issues.

Thanks your your perspective,
